CD&R Names Randy Moore Foundation President

Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R) today announced the appointment of Randy Moore, former Chief Operating Officer at COOP Careers, as President of the CD&R Foundation whose purpose is to provide “Equity through Opportunity.”
The CD&R Foundation pursues a broad mission to support initiatives and organizations that drive economic opportunity and employment across the CD&R portfolio and its local communities. Donald J. Gogel, CD&R Chairman, chairs the CD&R Foundation board.
“Following a year of unprecedented challenges, the CD&R Foundation deepens the Firm’s philanthropic heritage in a purposeful way,” said Nate Sleeper, CD&R’s Chief Executive Officer. “Randy’s extensive track record of building sustainable partnerships among educators, corporations, non-profits, and foundations makes him a great fit to lead this effort.”
Previously, Mr. Moore served as the Chief Operating Officer at COOP Careers, a national non-profit focused on helping first-generation college graduates secure employment in the digital economy through digital skills training and peer connections. He also served in leadership roles at HERE to HERE, The James and Judith K. Dimon Foundation, Year Up, Guttman Community College (CUNY), and other charitable organizations. Mr. Moore started his career as a high school educator.
