John is the former Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Catalent, Inc. Over a nearly 15-year tenure, he transformed Catalent into a global Tier 1 contract development and manufacturing organization. He guided the company through its 2014 IPO and subsequent transition to a fully independent public company. Prior to Catalent, John spent more than 20 years at GE Healthcare in senior leadership roles across engineering, operations and global business units, including as President and CEO of GE Medical Diagnostics. John serves as a board member of QuidelOrtho and Radiology Partners, a Senior Advisor at Bourne Partners and a member of the SCW.AI Advisory Board and the Purdue Engineering Advisory Council. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and a master’s degree from Purdue University, both in electrical engineering, as well as an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
