Christian joined CD&R in 2004. He plays a key role in the Firm's investments in Belron, OCS, SIG, SOCOTEC, Westbury Street Holdings and Wolseley UK. Previously, Christian was involved in the Firm's investments in Exova and SPIE, as well as the sale of Brakes Group. He serves on the Compliance Committee. Prior to joining CD&R, he was a managing director at Morgan Stanley Capital Partners and a director at Schroder Ventures (now Permira). He also worked in the London and New York offices of Morgan Stanley’s mergers and acquisitions department. Christian has a Ph.D. and B.A. in law from the Université de Lausanne and an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
